Charlesworth & Rugg is an independent investment advisory firm registered with the SEC. Since 1976 we have specialized in managing portfolios for individual investors, corporations, retirement plans, trusts and foundations.
In the world today, we see a rapidly changing environment – in markets and in many aspects of our day-to-day lives. Gone are the days of superior informational advantages of the largest financial institutions – technology is democratizing the world and practical, cost efficient, time saving solutions are the future across all industries. An investment advisor today must understand trends affecting both our industry and the global economy, such as the rapid expansion of technology and automation.
Our firm bridges this gap between wealth management of the past and of tomorrow – for while our roots may date back to 1976, we are an intergenerational advisory firm that has modernized for the future. We have learned from the past and are applying this knowledge to our investment approach by building modern, cost effective portfolios rooted in both academic theory and practical real-world experience. Our team’s backgrounds and expertise range from academia to the institutional arena in the areas of mutual funds, ETFs, private equity, real estate, and fixed income trading.
We believe there is a better approach to investing which, when thoughtfully combined with prudent financial planning, produces better outcomes for our clients. We invite you to discover how we can partner with you to achieve your goals.
